Library airing Chargers baseball tournament game this May 17th

For the first time in 11 years, the University of Alabama in Huntsville baseball team was selected to participate as the No. 6 seed in the eight-team NCAA South Regional on Sunday night during the NCAA Division II Baseball Tournament selection show at the Shelby Center on the UAH campus.

The regional, scheduled for May 17-21, will be hosted by top-seeded and No. 1-ranked Tampa at the University of Tampa Baseball Field in Tampa, Fla.  The Chargers (31-22) will open regional play on Thursday, May 17, at 4:30 p.m. EST / 3:30 CST at the UT Baseball Field against third-seeded Lynn (34-13).

Wondering how you can watch this game?  Salmon Library will be streaming the game live in the coffee shop area on the ground floor from 3:30-5:30 CST this Thursday, May 17th.  Please join us and enjoy the game with your fellow Chargers fans!

The winner of the NCAA South Regional will go on to play the winner of the NCAA South Central Regional in the NCAA Division II College World Series in Cary, N.C. on May 26-June 2.
