Access books from the University of Alabama in Huntsville Library

Welcome to the University of Alabama in Huntsville's online catalogs of electronic and traditional books. Please read this important information concerning your access rights and responsibilites. For a complete description of rights, responsibilities, and how to access our online resources, we strongly encourage you to read the library guide to traditional and electronic books.

  • Strayer users may request and have in their possession no more than 12 print books at any time.

  • Use the Request option on the search results page to request books

  • The checkout period is 90 days, with a possible renewal of 90 additional days.
  • All books must be returned by their due date.

  • It is the resposibility of each Strayer borrower of a loaned print book to bear any costs involved in returning it to the Salmon Library. This shall include appropriate documentation/receipts to insure tracking of the delivery.

  • The fine for overdue items is 25¢ per item per day . Strayer users are responsible for paying any fines directly to the University of Alabama in Huntsville.

  • Unpaid fines will be charged to each user's Strayer account.

To access the UAH Library's collection of electronic books, click on the "Electronic Books" icon in the upper left of this web page. If you have not yet logged in, you will be prompted to log in once you attempt to access the electronic or the traditional books catalog. After logging in, your browser will then continue on to the resource that you are attmepting to access.
