Data
and Story Library (DASL)
"DASL (pronounced 'dazzle') is an online library of datafiles
and stories that illustrate the use of basic statistics methods."
Teachers looking for examples may search the database in five ways:
by "story" title; by statistical method, such as regression
or ANOVA; by topic, such as psychology or health; by datafile subject,
such as finance or astronomy; or by full-text (all criteria at once).

The "Public School District Finance Peer Search" lets
you enter a county name to see graphs and data comparing it to
similiar school districts in the state, region, and nation.
National
Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP)
Mandated by Congress, the NAEP monitors the knowledge, skills,
and performance of the nation's children and youth. The site presents
objective data about student performance at national, regional,
and, on a trial basis, state levels. Full-text documents (PDF
files) on general and subject-specific performance (math, reading,
etc.) are available.

This organization has long published standard reference sources
in the field of tests and measurement. The site provides a searchable
database of test descriptions (Test Locator) and references to reviews
of tests (Test Review Locator). The search engine used has a "find
more link this" feature that assists in discovering related
tests. A searchable directory of test publishers is also provided
along with links to other related sites.

Consortium for Equity in Standards and Testing (CTEST)
The organization's mission is to focus "attention on how
educational standards, assessments, and tests can be used more
fairly." Full-text documents (PDF files), such as the Code
of Fair Testing Practices, are available along with "Spotlight
Issues" and links to other testing Internet sites.

"The Educational Testing Service Network (ETS Net) is a gateway
to definitive information about college and graduate school admissions
and placement tests, with links to AP, GRE (GRE Online), GMAT,

resources. ETS Net provides sample test questions, test preparation,
and test registration. It also contains information on ETS research
